Filled-Up Friday


This week was a funny one. Tbh I wasn't really feeling all that grateful. For no reason but I was just kinda like "out of it" and not in my usual mojo, and for a sec I contemplated not posting at all. But this week I've been focusing on listening to my intuition (helllooo meditation practice thank you) and what I heard is this: when I am down or feel like my vibration is low is exactly the time when I need to be grateful and pause to show love to all the amazing things that my week has brought thus far the most. Instead of looking outwardly for something to make me feel all grateful and empowered, I'm taking time to reflect and instead "conquering from within." 

BAM! Instant mojo-uplifter.

So here I go, loving life once again:) 

Goddess tarot cards ~ Kundalini yoga.. my new found OBSESSION for highly spiritual and uplifting experiences ~ MyIntent bracelets - srsly these are so cool ~ MAGIC + MIRACLES ~ ~ Shakti Shakti Shakti feminine power ~ conquering the glorious Wash U AC (although I really had no freaking clue how to work those machines.. I tried?)  ~  New Moon energy ~quality time with Pops ~ seeing friends for the first time in a long time (shoutout to Ash  heeeyyyy) ~ AC in this 90 degree glorious Missouri weather  ~ hugs from lil kiddos ~ MEDITATION MEDITATION MEDITATION ~ Acaí bowls (I can say I think I've almost mastered this art) ~ kayaking and floating in peace ~ sunshine.

Filled-Up Friday

 I'm a busy bee. I like being busy, having a schedule, and getting things done, but with summer upon us, I have had a little (or a lotta) time to slow down. And I learned something:

As important as it is to move forward, one of the most beautiful and gratifying things we can do is to reflect and show gratitude for the beautiful things in life.

I know, sounds cliche right? But there's a catch: When we show gratitude for the wonderful things in life, we match our vibration to the feeling of these wonderful things, and not only does that make us FEEL GOOD, but it when we match our vibration to the feeling of these GOOD THINGS, we attract more GOOD THINGS into our lives. 

Feel good + attract good things... what more could you ask for?

And these things don't have to huge, monumental things - they can be big things, little things, even littler things...its all the same vibration!

So I've decided to start off this train of gratitude by sharing the things that have filled me up this week and illuminated my soul with good vibez:

belly breathing ~ flip flops ~ Urban Breath yoga studio (HIGHLY recommend ) ~ LUMINESCENCE ~ the feeling of my body melting into the bed for the first time after a hard workout ~ Ted Drewes Oreo Concrete NOMZ ~ sunshine after rain ~ FaceTiming my sis and seeing the Colorado mountains (even if only virtually) ~ Starbucks iced coffee w/ light soy and extra light ice <3 ~ putting pen to paper ~ Rebecca Campbell's Light Sourcing Meditation ~ target sports bras ~ having the time to lay on a chair outside ~ walking and talking ~ CRUSHED RED ~ belting If I Have To by Avery Wilson ~ love.
